  • No, you don’t need to be working with a professional interior designer to access our services. However, if you would like to engage a full-service interior designer, we’re happy to make referrals based on your style, location and specific project needs.

  • Our skilled design team specializes in wallpaper, fabrics and window treatments. We are not, however, a full-service design studio. We collaborate with a wide network of professional interior designers and stand ready to connect you with a designer suited to your individual needs.

  • Because there are so many variables involved in arriving at an accurate quote, we can only offer a proposal with professional measurements and your choice of materials and finishes. If you’re working within a specific budget, our designers are equipped to make suitable recommendations based on your project parameters.

  • Obtaining precise measurements is an integral step in ensuring that you are 100% satisfied with your custom project. Once your materials are selected, our installation team will schedule a check measure at a time convenient for you. Next, they will take all necessary measurements and note any nuances of the space - architectural details, existing hardware, and/ or furnishings - that may factor into the final product. Our check measure process lays a solid foundation for a meticulous and exceptional outcome.

  • As each client’s selections are custom and cut to order, we do not stock yardage of any fabrics or wallpaper in the showroom. The order processing time depends on the vendor you choose. Let us know if you are on a tight timeline, we’ll be able to work with you to make recommendations based on your scheduling goals.

  • Yes, we have a workshop team that can complete custom upholstery projects for clients sourcing materials through Grand York. Our services include but are not limited to: sofas, chairs, outdoor cushions and window seats, as well as headboards, bedding, pillows and accessories.

  • The minimum order requirements for fabric and wallpaper will differ depending on the vendor.

  • In our ever-so-slightly biased opinion, YES. Our clients rave about the many ways that custom window treatments are a worthy investment.

For some, it’s the quality craftsmanship. Of course, you can order from bulk suppliers and e-commerce sites, but as with most things in life: you get what you pay for. They are often made with poor quality materials that not only look and feel inexpensively constructed, but are prone to break down, leading to inevitable repairs and replacements.

For others, it's the energy efficiency component that is most valuable. Approximately 30% of a home's heating and cooling are lost through windows. Window coverings can alleviate this by providing comfort, regulating temperatures and reducing energy bills.

All things being equal, what’s top of mind for almost all of our clients is the specificity that customization allows - the final product is going to be exactly what you envisioned for your home! Our expert team of designers is available to help select the best materials and finishes for you based on your style, space and budget. Moreover, our team of installation experts provide extra peace of mind that your coverings will fit perfectly and be installed safely and efficiently.

  • Wallpaper is a great way to make a big impact within a room, but it can also add a more subtle kind of pattern and texture. Wallpaper is also highly durable — when hung properly, it can last over 15 years (three times longer than paint), making it a cost-effective and low-maintenance investment. If you have imperfect walls, high quality wallpaper can also be a clever way to hide surface imperfections.
